I'm a new AP at WDW! The name on my AP is my nickname, which is how I am shown on my resort reservation. My driver's license has my legal name. Will this be a problem when I show my ID & AP in order to receive my discounts?

    Hi Kitty!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I hope your day is going well.   I am thrilled to hear you have purchased a Walt Disney World Annual Pass.  I have been an Annual Passholder for the past five years and love it.  Not only will you receive 365 days of theme park admission but you will also gain some amazing discounts on merchandise, food and even Disney Resort hotel stays. I hope you enjoy your magical year ahead.

When you make a purchase and plan on using your Annual Passholder discount you will need to show your id and your Annual Pass.  The Cast Member will verify the name on the Annual Pass and the name on your ID to see if they match before applying the discount.  If your names are not the same on your ID and Annual Passholder hard ticket I do suggest you visit with a Cast Member at Guest Relations and see how they may be able to help you.   I wouldn't want you to miss out on any discounts that apply to you.

I hope this has helped.  Please let me know if I can answer anything else for you.   It's always fun to lend a helping hand to a fellow Guest.
