    I'm a mom of 4, youngest 2 cannot swim well. Would it still be worth while going to Blizzard Beach as a family or will I end up struggling to keep 2 non-swimmers safe & having fun? I don't want to end up in the kiddie pool for the entire time! THANKS.

    Our last several trips to the WDW water parks have been AMAZING. We particularly LOVE Blizzard Beach. In fact, my girls now almost prefer Blizzard Beach to the Magic Kingdom. But they are 8 and 11 and all good swimmers now. We can spend an entire day together up and down on the slides and on the family raft ride.

    However, when the kids were smaller it was much more of a struggle in the water parks. Blizzard Beach does have a great area (Tikes Peak) for younger kids. Tikes Peak does have a swim and splash area, and some smaller sized slides and raft rides. Nevertheless, the kids do need quite a lot of supervision here. Another factor to consider is that Tikes Peak has a height maximum, which basically means that older kids are not allowed to play here (helps keep younger kids safe).

    When my twins were four and my older daughter was seven, my husband and I took turns with the kids. The twins really needed to stay at Tikes Peak and the older one needed to go elsewhere, so we split up the group and just met for lunch. At that point, there really wouldn't have been a way to keep us all together the whole time.  If you can't , or don't want to split up your family during swim time, then you're probably better off waiting a year or two for the water parks.
