If I’m in the middle of transferring to California and don’t have a CA state ID, can I still qualify for the payment plan for the Imagine key?

Hi Eliazar! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

It's very exciting news that Magic Keys sales are about to open up again. Each Magic Key has its own benefits and terms, including the Imagine Key, which is open to Guests in eligible ZIP Codes. Guests must be able to prove their residence in one of these ZIP Codes by presenting a valid government-issued ID. Since you don't yet have a California ID, you wouldn't be able to enter the parks with the Imagine Key. It's certainly a great reason to jump on updating your ID. The Imagine Key offers local Guests more access to the magic, fantastic discounts, and special perks.

If you're not going to be able to update your ID soon, you have the option of purchasing another Magic Key. Magic Keys are popular and some might sell out quickly, so you might not want to wait until you have an ID that qualifies you for the Imagine Key. For example, I have really enjoyed having the Believe Key. The dining discounts are a great value to my family. We're definitely foodies, who love dining in the parks, and we're able to do that more thanks to the discount. Merchandise discounts are great too! It's important to read through all the details associated with the different Magic Keys before purchasing, including blockout dates. Prices and terms are subject to change.

I hope you can find the perfect Magic Key for your needs. Good luck!
