Hi there, Lauren!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I'm so excited to hEAR you're starting to plan a Walt Disney World vacation for your little one!
It sounds like you are raising your son to love "All Things Disney!" I love that and have to admit I'm doing the same thing with my four kiddos. When you do visit, you'll be amazed at just how many
attractions your little Mouseketeer will be able to experience. With Character Greetings, amazing shows, beautiful parades and nighttime spectaculars and classic attractions for Guests of all ages, you're going to love being able to see the magic of Disney through your son's eyes.
Although it can be difficult to predict the best time to visit in regards to crowd levels, I've always found the crowds to be more manageable when schools are in session. Since your little one is not in school yet, I would definitely take advantage of visiting during a time when schools are not out for the holidays. Early to mid-December is one of my favorite times of the year to visit since the parks and resorts are beautifully decorated for the
holiday season and the crowds are usually more manageable. My children were always captivated by all of the beautiful lights adorning the parks during the holidays.
When you visit, be sure to utilize the
Baby Care Centers in all four theme parks. Mickey Mouse really does think of everything when it comes to visiting Walt Disney World Resort with our youngest Guests.
I hope this has been helpful, Lauren. Please stop by again with any new questions. We would love to assist you in planning a magical first trip for your son!
