    I'm making plans to visit WDW in November 2009 with my 6years old son and 3years old daughter. Will there be enough rides to both of them to do? Or should I wait for another couple of years before making the trip so that they can really enjoy it.

    Deepika,

    ABSOLUTELY there will be plenty of rides for them both to try out! Your six year old will never run out of rides, and your 3-year old daughter will be able to enjoy almost all of the same ones.

    When asked by friends what the ideal age is for a child to make their first visit to Walt Disney World, I say somewhere in the 3 1/2 to 4 year old range.

    That being said, here are some important things you can do beforehand to prepare;

    1. Know your kid's heights (in inches), and see what rides they will not be allowed to go on. This can help you avoid any disappointments.
    2. If you will have more than 1 adult on the trip, watch Michelle's video about the Rider Switch program. This easy and free service can help you not only enjoy adult-friendly thrill rides, but also let's you get the 6-year old on a ride that his 3-year old sister won't enjoy.
    So I would say that you are probably OK to take the plunge!

    Have a magical vacation!
