I'm making dining reservations for our trip in May. My son will be 1 year old at the time of the trip. The system will not allow me to include him for dining reservations. Does this mean that he will not be allowed to eat?

Hi Jaclyn and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How wonderful that you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! You are going to have a great time with your family! Thanks for sending us your question.

Your Mouseketeer is always welcome to dine with you and your family at table service restaurants! In fact, your son will be Mickey’s special guest during your visit. That means you can share meals with him at all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurants and table services restaurants during your stay, at no additional charge. He also does not need a theme park ticket to enjoy the theme parks with you!

Jaclyn, when making your dining reservations, you can always add a note to say that he will also be part of your party. I dined at Disney restaurants many times with my girls when they were babies. The Cast Members were always so accommodating and flexible. They always made sure everyone, including the youngest guests, had everything they needed!

There are so many things available to you during your stay at the Walt Disney World Resort to make sure you’re comfortable. You can always request a complimentary pack ‘n’ play for your resort room. Stroller rentals are very easy to find at the entrances of all four theme parks. Baby Care Centers take the guess work out of finding a quiet place to feed, change and relax with your young child. You can also find them at all four theme parks!

I hope this information has been helpful to you. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. Helping you with all the details of your next magical visit is our pleasure!
