Hi, Im making our dining reservations. It's me and my husband and our 2 yr old son. I was booking for 3 guests? Is this right or should I be booking only for 2? Some restaurants require credit card info so that would be $30 for a no show if ever.

    Hi Mary Jane,

You are correct. While in many cases a child under the age of three can eat for free at Walt Disney World, you still need to include these children in your head count when making a dining reservation. Disney needs to have a table set aside that will fit your entire family and there are safety limits about how many people can be in each restaurant. Your two year old son must be factored into that, so you should make your reservations for three people.

There are a few WDW restaurants that require a credit card to hold a reservation. If you were to no show on those reservations, then your family of three would be assessed a $30 fee.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
