I’m going to Magic Kingdom on June 3rd & I want to get the premier pass. I booked a night at a Disney hotel for the 3rd so I could book the passes 7 days early, but would I be able to book the hotel for the 2nd and still get the passes for the 3rd?

    Hi Geoffrey!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!

When staying at a Disney World resort, you get to purchase your Lightning Lane services for your entire length of stay, 7 days in advance of your check-in date. For a one-night resort stay, you’d be able to purchase Lightning Lane services for your check-in and check-out dates, pending availability.

So, yes! You can stay at the resort the night of June 2 and purchase Lightning Lane services for both June 2 and June 3, 7 days in advance of your check-in date.

It’s also good to note that another perk for Disney World resort guests this year is free water park tickets on arrival day. By booking your room for the night of June 2nd, you could use those water park tickets on your arrival day and purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass for your second day. That way, you get a little relaxation in before a full day of fun at the park!

Before your Lightning Lane booking window opens, make sure you have your resort reservations and park ticket(s) linked to your My Disney Experience account. That way, everything goes smoothly when it’s time to purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

I also recommend getting on the My Disney Experience app right when your booking window opens at 7 AM Eastern.  That will give you the best chance at snagging the Lightning Lane service(s) you’re hoping for.

I hope that helps! If you have any other questions leading up to your vacation, let us know!
