Hi Lauren!
Disney's Magic Kingdom is such a beautiful park, especially during the
holidays. You won't need a ticket to
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party to enjoy the gorgeous decorations! Main Street is decorated with Mickey Mouse wreaths, garlands, and bright red bows. There is a gorgeous Christmas tree in Town Square and you can even meet Santa!
On the nights of
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party,
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks is the only fireworks show of the evening. Fireworks begin over Cinderella Castle at 10:00 p.m. While you can't be in the parks for the fireworks unless you have a ticket to the event, I have a secret tip for you! Make an advanced dining reservation for California Grill for that evening around 9:00 p.m. You will be able to go out on the balcony after your meal and enjoy the fireworks show from above! It's absolutely incredible to see the fireworks from that perspective.
Another option is to watch the fireworks from Disney's Polynesian Resort. You can make an advanced dining reservation for
'Ohana and enjoy a wonderful dinner. Then go down to the beach afterwards to see the fireworks.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
