I'm looking for vegetarian dining options at Disney World. Wondering which restaurants will best accommodate vegetarians before we make dining reservations, also which counter service options in the theme parks will be best?

    HI Anne-Marie!

Good news! Walt Disney World is one of the easiest vacation and dining spots for vegetarians that I have ever traveled to! I'm always able to find a great option on the menu - and if I don't, every chef at every table service restaurant has been more than willing to accommodate me.

On a recent trip I was even able to attend the Hoop Dee Doo revue. The menu of fried chicken, pork and beans, and ribs left me wondering if I'd be stuck with salad all night. I didn't need to worry though - after mentioning this to my waitress, a chef quickly came to the table to discuss my options. I chose a grilledveggie plate that left everyone at my table jealous!

I recently answered a couple of questions on vegetarian dining and healthy options. Both of these answers might be worth checking out.

Another option for research before your trip is to visit allears.net and search for vegetarian counter service. They have a great listing of every counter service restaurant and which items are vegetarian and/or vegan.

I hope this helps! Have a great trip and enjoy the plentiful dining options!
