Hi, I'm looking at staying at WDW resorts next Aug 2012, I'm really unsure where to stay. The hotels in my budget are CBS, CSR, POFQ, PORS, DAK, OKW and SSR. We have a 4 yr old & want lots to do at the resort for off days and want to be close to buses

Hi Louise! Thanks for the great question! I've narrowed down your list to my top four choices and will give you some highlights of each. Hopefully this will help narrow down your search.

Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside are both great choices. The settings for both are peaceful and beautiful, and as a guest of either resort, you can use the pools and facilities at both resorts, which are a short walk or boat ride apart. In addition to the great food courts, my favourite thing about these resorts is the boat that takes guests to and from Downtown Disney.

    Caribbean Beach Resort
has a fantastic pool area, including a great kiddie pool complete with slide and fountain that your child will love. The food court is awesome too. The rooms have all been recently refurbished, and if your four year old is a pirate fan, you might want to consider upgrading to one of the super cool pirate-themed rooms.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is truly gorgeous. If your child loves animals, this is the spot to be.  There are viewing areas throughout the resort where you can see the animals roaming freely. You can also book a savannah view resort room, where you just might wake up and look out to a giraffe out your window! There are many dining options to choose from, making for a day enjoying your resort.

Write us back with any other questions you might have as you plan your vacation Louise!
