Stephanie, if you are looking for a private space to have the birthday celebration, I would suggest that you contact
Disney Meetings & Events. On the top of their webpage there is a header called “Social Events”, hover over that tab and in the drop down select “Types of Social Events”. This link will take you to an area where you will be able to submit a request for your event. The friendly Cast Members at Disney Meetings & Events will follow up with you and let you know your options on any private spaces that would be available and the cost that would be associated with that request.
I had the opportunity during my working days to attend an event that was held in
Reflections of China in the World Showcase at EPCOT. It was part of a conference set up by a national organization that I belonged to. It was a wonderful experience to be able to enjoy the pavilion and the outstanding meal that was part of the experience with co-workers and friends from around the country.
Stephanie, if you aren’t able to find a suitable private dining experience for your group, there are plenty of alternate options at resort dining locations that are quiet and even though you wouldn’t be in a private room, you would still have a memorable experience. I would recommend
Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. Great location, outstanding food, and an elegant atmosphere.
Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort has some of the best steaks in town. The
California Grill near the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort has panoramic views of the Magic Kingdom and the surrounding area, and the food is absolutely amazing. So many choices at Disney resorts!
Stephanie, it will most definitely be a happy birthday no matter which resort dining choice you select! Just make sure you leave some room to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
