Hey there, Kathryn, and welcome to planDisney!
A 30th birthday celebration at The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds practically perfect in every way. Disney magic with loved ones is already such a gift, but I love that you want to shower her with a little extra pixie dust.
Of course, your first stop needs to be either at the front desk of your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or at
Guest Relations if you're staying elsewhere, and grab some celebration buttons. Your sister can get a Happy Birthday button while the rest of the group can grab the ones labeled I'm Celebrating. With those pinned to your chest, Cast Members and even other Guests will be able to recognize that there's a party going on.
Now, if you really want to add some razzle-dazzle to your visit, a special dining experience may be the perfect addition. A little character dining, like at
The Crystal Palace for breakfast, or a signature restaurant, like
California Grill, can make your sister feel like a princess on her day. At certain table-service locations, you can even take it a step further by
ordering a Mickey-shaped celebration cake in advance to mark the occasion.
Finally, you could definitely take a look at booking an experience from the
Enchanting Extras Collection. Whether it's a
dessert party with designated fireworks viewing and sweet treats or a
fireworks cruise near EPCOT or Magic Kingdom, there are so many unforgettable options to make this birthday one your sister will never forget.
Pro-tip: Letting your little one select a little gift for her auntie to be presented to her, like a stuffy of her favorite character or a new set of ears, will have your sister shedding tears of joy. Those gifts from the babies always hit us right in our auntie hearts.
Kathryn, whatever you choose to do, I know your sister is going to love it because it came from you. A very merry unbirthday to her, and have the most magical time. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat.
Happy planning!
