    I’m looking at pre ordering my magic bands. When I select the special edition ones that I have to pay extra for they state they contain BPA. The regular free coloured ones do not have this warning. Please can you confirm these don’t contain BPA. Thanks

    Hello, Rebecca! Thank you for taking the time to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel! 

    MagicBands are all-in-one devices that connect guests to all the choices they've made in My Disney Experience for their trip. They make everything at The Most Magical Place on Earth easier by eliminating the need to carry anything! It always takes me a day or two to readjust to the reality of having my purse with me 24/7 when I get home.

    Like you, I also noticed the warning that MagicBands may expose the wearer to Bisphenol A or BPA when I ordered my upgraded bands. Unfortunately, I also saw this warning when I looked at all the solid colored MagicBands on the shopDisney website. I called Guest Services, and they were very transparent about this matter. They did mention that BPA does not pose any harm to the wearer unless it is consumed. However, I understand your concern, especially if you have a younger Mouseketeer. An alternative suggestion to wearing your MagicBands on your wrist would be to get a MagicKeeper, found on shopDisney.com. These accessories come with a clip that you can attach to a bag, stroller, or belt loop.
