I'm looking at a 4-night cruise to the Bahamas out of Port Canaveral in June on the Wish. The prices are above $7,000 for an inside room. Is that unusual or because I'm booking late? Is it within reason for June and I should consider it?

    Ahoy there, Talia!

Welcome aboard planDisney! How exciting to be planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation! Let's talk numbers so you can make the best decision for your family.

Cruise fares depend on several factors, including the time of year. As you can imagine, June and July are popular times for families to cruise. Those months book up quickly. The best fares are offered as soon as the itineraries are announced, so the closer to the sail date and the closer the ship is to reaching capacity, the higher the fare typically.

If June is the month for you, but the price is out of budget range, consider booking a 3-Night cruise instead. You would miss the day at sea, but you could consider staying onboard at Nassau, Bahamas, and spend that day enjoying all Disney Wish has to offer. You will still have an awesome day at Disney Castaway Cay!

There is so much included with your cruise fare! All the entertainment, Rotational Dining, amazing spaces and activities for kids and adults. Plus extras like soft drinks, soft-serve ice cream, and complimentary Room Service! While the initial number may seem higher than expected, the value you receive on a Disney cruise is worth it.

I hope this information is helpful, Talia. Please let us know if you have other questions as you plan; we are happy to help!

    Wishing you many magical moments,
    Shannon
