Hi, Jennifer! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I went to the Magic Kingdom Park Fireworks Dessert Party twice this past year just to try out the "before and after" options. These two parties are quite similar and I consider them both a practically perfect way to end our day at Magic Kingdom Park. When the After-Fireworks option was introduced, they did offer a few different food selections at that specific party, such as the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake and spinach dip. Can we just take a moment and daydream about that cake? Wow! Don't tell my beloved Dole Whip Float, but that Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake just about beat it out as my favorite Magic Kingdom Park dessert!
I booked the
Magic Kingdom After-Fireworks Dessert Party for my daughter's birthday celebration and am happy to report to you that your requested cake was also present at that celebration. I *may* have had two platefuls of it and tried hard to not lick the plate. I do want to say that the menu items are always subject to change, so you may find other delicious options on the buffet when you attend. A dream is a wish your heart makes, so keep on believing and hopefully, the Ooey Gooey dream that you wish will come true!
Jennifer, be sure to look over your confirmation email after reserving your place at the party for the requested time you should head to the reserved viewing section. You will want to get there early to claim a great spot for your family. It is quite a large area with plenty of room for everyone, but I always like to get there early, find a spot to relax, and soak in all the beauty and magic of Cinderella Castle before Happily Ever After begins.
Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
