I'm looking for more information about purchasing a Park Hopper Plus option. Does the visit to the extra locations count as one of the "days" or is it independent of your park visits?

Welcome to planDisney, Laura, and thanks for this great question! You'll arrive soon, so let's talk about adding the Park Hopper Plus option to your Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets.

When you purchase a theme park ticket, you select the number of days you'd like to visit the parks. You'll get a "use window" of days to use the ticket, so if you buy a three-day ticket, you'll see that you have five days to use it. If you add the Park Hopper Plus option to that three-day ticket, you'll get an extra day added to your window, so you'll have six days to use all of your entitlements.

The Park Hopper Plus option allows you to enter a Disney water park, play golf or miniature golf, and visit the ESPN Wild World of Sports Complex. Depending on the length of your ticket, you'll have that many "visits" to experience any combination of those extras.

In our example of a three-day ticket, the Park Hopper Plus option would give you six use days. In those six days, you can visit theme parks on three days and do three extra activities any time you like within that window. You can even enter a couple of theme parks in the morning and book a tee time to play a round of golf in the afternoon. Another option is to go to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park on a non-theme park day. In other words, you can enjoy those extras anytime that works for you.

My panelist pal Ryan offers some examples of how you can utilize the Park Hopper Plus option, and you can read more about pricing on the Theme Park Ticket landing page. I did a test run, and I noticed that the use window doesn't change on the calendar when you add the Park Hopper Plus option, but it is reflected at the bottom of the page near the subtotal.

I also recommend you call the New Tickets line with any questions regarding your exact dates so you'll know the number of visits you'll have and the use window. You can add this option to your existing tickets in person, but remember that you'll have to add it to all days of your ticket, even days you've used.

I hope you stop by the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival during your visit. I booked a Garden Rocks Dining Package next month to see Plain White Tees in concert. I'll get to dine with Farmer Mickey Mouse AND dance to some magical tunes later!

Laura, I'm sprinkling pixie dust and golf tees your way! I know you're going to have a fabulous trip. Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
