Ahoy, Jill!
Isn't it exciting to start dreaming of a vacation on the high seas with your favorite Disney Pals? It really is the best way to travel because you only unpack once, everything you need (and more!) is onboard and you'll enjoy ever-changing views. As a family of six, you'll love the variety of options available for your crew...truly something for every age, and it's a tremendous value with all that's included in your cruise fare.
Jill, I'm not sure which vessel you're considering for your vacation, but if you are interested in one space for your family, the Disney Wonder and the Disney Magic both offer two
Concierge options that sleep seven. The Concierge Royal Suite and the Concierge 2-Bedroom Suite both have two bedrooms and about 1,000 square feet including a spacious verandah for your family to spread out. Concierge-level rooms come with perks such as pre-cruise planning services, priority boarding, a Concierge lounge, sun deck and a team that will take incredible care of your family.
If you are not interested in Concierge or are eyeing a Disney Dream or Disney Fantasy Cruise, you will need to explore two staterooms. The good news is that all four ships have connecting cabins in all stateroom categories-Inside, Oceanview and Verandah. Many of these staterooms have the split-bath design so having two bathrooms per room will be very helpful in the morning, at bedtime and when it's time to prepare for dinner. Another idea to save a little money is to reserve one Verandah or Oceanview stateroom and an Inside stateroom across the hall.
Jill, a Disney Cruise Line reservation agent can help you with stateroom availability and pricing on the sailings you are considering by calling (800) 951-3532. Please let us know if you have another planning questions.
Good luck!
Nancy
