I'm looking for gender reveal ideas. We've chose to keep the gender sealed in an envelope until we go down to Disney. Any neat ideas how to incorporate cast members, or a restaurant in the reveal? No one, including myself or husband will know the gender.

Hi Amanda!   I LOVE this question!  Incorporating your love of Disney with a gender reveal sounds like a practically perfect idea!   One of my best friends did just this a few months ago at Walt Disney World, and it was just amazing.

One idea I have for you is to take your envelop to a Cast Member at a merchandise location that sells Mickey ear hats.   Explain to them that you are planning a gender reveal, and have them put the appropriate pink or black hat in a box for you to open later in the day.   If you already have names picked out for both genders you could even have the ears personalized.  You can take the package to a meet and greet with your favorite character and have them help you open the package.  You would get some pretty amazing photos, and a memory you would cherish forever.   Please let the character's handler know what you are planning so that they can make the moment as special as possible.

If you would like to reveal your gender at a meal, how about dining at Cinderella's Royal Table.   Each youngster who visits is either given a wand or a sword as a souvenir.    You could explain to your server what you are planning and give them envelope.  At some point during the meal a sword for a little prince or wand for a lovely princess could be sent to your table.  You may even be able to have your keepsake delivered by your favorite Disney Princess who make rounds at this royal affair.

Congratulations on your little prince or princess.  I wish I was able to be there to see your face as the surprise is revealed.  I know it will be priceless.   Enjoy your vacation, and please let me know when I can help you again.   I love helping fellow Disney-loving MOMS!

    Best Wishes,

    ~Jen
