Hiya, Alphonse, and welcome to planDisney! I can't think of a better way to start the new year than by planning a
Walt Disney World Resort visit, so let's jump right into it. As Peter Pan crowed, "Here we gooooo!"
planDisney panelists are Disney fans and guests, just like you. We are happy to share tips and advice, but we are not travel agents. If I were looking for professional help planning a trip, I'd search online for "authorized Disney World travel agents." And the person you choose doesn't have to be located near you; in this magical digital world, most agents can sprinkle pixie dust from afar.
I'm so excited you've secured your theme park tickets and Disney Resort Hotel reservations. It sounds like you still need your flights, and I'm sure a travel agent would be happy to help with those. Your family will be soaring past the second star on the right and straight on to Disney World!
As for booking dining for your vacation, some travel agents might offer this as an added service, while others might charge an additional fee. If you're up for a bit of adventure, set an alarm for 60 days before your arrival and
book meals yourself. I like having the control to decide on specific available times, and I can pivot to plan B if my first choice isn't available. A bonus tip is that you can book dining for the length of your stay (up to ten days) when your 60-day window opens. No imaginary food for you and your Lost Boys!
If you'd like to add a
Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package, you can
modify your existing package online or call the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line. Travel agents can typically only make changes to the packages they originally booked.
One of my family's must-do table service locations is the
Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT. This rotating restaurant overlooks the Living with the Land attraction and serves comfort food family-style. The best part is meeting your favorite characters in their farming attire; they'll come right to your table for photos and shenanigans!
Alphonse, I'm sending you happy thoughts so you can have a forever-young holiday in 2026. Please stop by
planDisney anytime! We'll get you to Neverland and back again.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
