Hi! I’m looking into a DAS pass for my group. We will be a party of 7, 4 adults and 3 children, one of which will be the recipient. Will my whole group be able to wait together, or will some of us have to wait in line anyway? Thank you!

Welcome to planDisney, Erin! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. With your trip coming up this summer, it's a great idea to start thinking about some of the details of how your itinerary is going to work, including planning for Disability Access Service (DAS) if someone in your party is in need of accommodation.

When using DAS at Walt Disney World, the system allows the registered guest and up to three additional members of their party to be included on each DAS return time selection. That means a total of four guests, including the DAS user, can enter the Lightning Lane together per DAS reservation. Since your group has seven people total, not everyone will be able to use the DAS return time to enter a line.

But don't worry, you've still got great options to make the day work for everyone! For the rest of your group, I'd recommend considering Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which allows you to pre-book ride times for some of the most popular attractions. With a little coordination, you can often schedule Lightning Lane return times that overlap with your DAS selections, so that everyone can still experience attractions around the same time. It's also helpful to note that DAS doesn't eliminate wait times; it just allows the guest and their group to wait outside of the physical line, which can be a huge help for those with qualifying needs.

I hope this answers your question, Erin, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
