Welcome, Kirsten.
I’m glad you followed Mowgli and Baloo through the jungle and found your way here to planDisney. We know the Bare Necessities when it comes to
Walt Disney World Resort and love to help fellow Guests plan their own magical vacations. After all, that’s what friends are for!
Kirsten, you’re in luck, because the Disney Parks Blog recently announced the return of many favorite
Character Experiences and
Character Dining experiences at The Most Magical Place on Earth. They gave specific return dates for many of the returning characters, but they also had a group of characters without a specified return date. I wish I could look into the future and see any additional characters that will be returning, but I don’t have information beyond what has already been announced. Your best bet is to keep a keen eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and
Disney Parks Instagram account for further news and announcements.
As for the
Chip 'N Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long, I spoke to a Cast Member over at
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and was told that you do not have to be a Guest staying at the Resort to partake in the fun. However, she did mention that you will not be allowed to park at the Resort for the sole purpose of the sing-a-long. Instead, you will need to utilize one of the complimentary
Resort Transportation options to get there. Just so you know, you can bring your own s’more-making supplies or purchase some when you arrive.
Kirsten, I hope this information helps you plan a spectacular vacation for your family. If you have further questions, don’t hesitate to stop by
planDisney again. We’re all (elephant) EARs and happy to help!
Forget about your worries and your strife,
Alyssa
