Hi! I'm looking to bring my family to Disney World in August which seems to be right in between Disney Villains After Hours and before the Halloween fun begins. Are there any other events and or character meals that involve villains we could attend?

Hi Penny! Thank you so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Never Fear! While the Disney Villains After Hours event is currently not scheduled for your dates, and the Halloween festivities haven’t quite hit their groove, there are still plenty of places to interact with your favorite villains!

One of my absolute favorite places for a wickedly good time is at Storybook Dining at Artist Point, located in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort. There, the Evil Queen will summon you to you for a royal audience. Just don’t crack a smile, or you may face her wrath. Another one of my favorite ladies, Lady Tremaine, can be found along with her darling daughters Anastasia and Drizella at Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

If you and your mateys want to plunder the high seas with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee, the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage would be the perfect surprise for your crew, Penny.  Enjoy treats fit for even the most ruthless privateer before heading out for a cruise around the Seven Seas Lagoon and witnessing a nighttime firework spectacular! While this adventure has not been scheduled for your stay yet, keep checking as it is highly possible additional dates will be added.

To cap off your villainous vacation, don’t miss the Fantasmic! nighttime spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Evil antics abound as Mickey Mouse journeys inside his imagination and encounters some very familiar figures, including Maleficent and Jafar.

I hope that you will have a wonderfully wicked vacation, Penny, and please come back if we can do anything else to make your Walt Disney World Resort vacation a little more villainous.
