I'm looking to book a vacation for 8/13-8/17 Would it be cheaper in some cases to get a room night by night and potentially change resorts? or just commit to one?

Welcome to planDisney, Kristian, where we love helping Guests like you make their Disney vacation dreams come true! I am so glad that you decided to stop by with your vacation question, and it would be my pleasure to help point you in the right direction. One of my favorite parts of planning a vacation in Walt Disney World is choosing a resort from the Disney Resorts Collection.

There are so many incredible resorts to choose from that you may find it tough to choose just one. Perhaps you are interested in staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge for the breathtaking views of the animals roaming the savannas and the incredible African theming throughout the resort. You could choose to stay a night or two at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and then move to another Disney Resort hotel for the rest of your stay. Disney’s Pop Century Resort is a great value resort option, with access to the Disney Skyliner, which offers convenient transportation options to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.

I highly recommend playing around with the dates you plan to visit, checking the availability at each resort, and then deciding if you would like to change resorts during your stay. Disney Resort hotels make it easy to enjoy a split stay. You will simply bring your luggage down to Bell Services on the day you depart one resort, and they will have it delivered to your next resort for you. You can go out and enjoy the day knowing your luggage will be awaiting you at your next Disney Resort hotel upon your arrival.

I hope this information helps you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth this August! Be sure to check out the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival during your visit. Here at planDisney, we are always happy to help answer your vacation questions, so stop back by any time.
