Hi, I’m looking to book a RunDisney run in the US for the first time? I’m from the U.K. so have no idea how it works compared to Paris. I would love to do the wine and dine- any tips/ costing brackets? Where to book for an international participant? Thanks

Hello, Martine! Registration just opened for the 2019 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. If you're anything like me, and you love running, wine, and Disney, this is the runDisney race for you- and the best part is you get to celebrate at Epcot afterward!

Make sure to visit the runDisney website for all your race weekend information. You'll be able to register for the race and put in your Proof of Time, which I recommend doing. The website also has information on pricing for all the various events, including the Disney Two Course Challenge which combines the 10K on Saturday with the Half Marathon on Sunday for a total of 19.3 miles! If you plan on running this year, make sure to register soon, as this event sells out quickly. Unlike the Disneyland Paris Magic Run Weekend, however, you're not able to book your vacation package through this website. To do this, call Walt Disney World Special Events at 0800 08 50 582 (UK).

Besides getting to run through the Walt Disney World theme parks, the best part of the weekend is the Exclusive Post-Race Party which starts at 5:00 PM at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival! Tickets to the Festival are included in the race fee for half marathon and Challenge runners, while family and friends can attend for a discounted price. Rarely seen Disney character often show up at this event, so if you see Remy and Emile, make sure to get a selfie!

I hope you decide to sign up, Martine! And look into the ultimate Castle to Chateau Challenge- the medals are fit for a princess!

I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
