    Hi I’m looking to book a hair cut for my visit in October 2nd in harmony barber shop however I can’t seem to find how.

    Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your wonderful question about the Harmony Barber Shop at Magic Kingdom Park. There's something truly nostalgic about the sight of the red and white barber pole as you enter the park—it's a charming nod to a bygone era. Every time I pass by, I'm flooded with memories of my youngest daughter's first haircut there several years ago. This year, I got to create new memories with my nephew as he sat in the same chair for his very first haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop!

    I took a look at the US Walt Disney World Website (I see the “Temporarily Unavailable” notice on the UK Walt Disney World Website) and, unfortunately, there is no availability for October 2, 2024. I have some good news, Rose: the Harmony Barber Shop does accept a limited number of walk-ins each day! The shop is open from 9 AM to 4:45 PM, so you might still have a chance. When my nephew had his first haircut, we couldn’t find any appointments either, but we entered Magic Kingdom Park as soon as early as we could and headed straight to the Harmony Barber Shop. The wait wasn’t too long, and he got his haircut, along with a special pair of Mickey ears embroidered with "First Haircut." He looked so dapper and loved the experience—the Cast Members there are truly wonderful!

    If you're set on getting a haircut during your October visit, I suggest arriving at Magic Kingdom Park early and waiting outside the Harmony Barber Shop before it opens. With a bit of luck, you'll be sitting in the chair, listening to the snip of the scissors in no time!
