Hello Heidi, thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. Your son has got the right idea about staying sharp on vacation.
One of my rituals is getting a haircut at home before my vacation with my barber here in New Jersey, so this is spot-on for my typical behavior while visiting the parks.
Disney Springs is unfortunately saying goodbye to one of the options for a masterfully trained barber to help you look your best. This location has a very luxurious ritual for shaving. From exfoliation and deep cleaning to a warm towel infused with essential oils. There isn’t a step that doesn’t exude the ultimate pampering experience. There is also a great retail section that has some of the fanciest face maintenance products this bearded panelist has ever seen.
While everyone is saying goodbye to the
Art of Shaving, there is still a location that has been keeping parkgoers spiffy for decades.
Harmony Barber Shop is located inside
Magic Kingdom Park right on Main Street U.S.A. These barbers are all cosmetologists who will lower your son’s ears while enjoying the sounds of the park. If you are lucky you may also get to hear the Dapper Dan’s sing a tune or two while in the chair. If that isn’t a step back into yesteryear I don’t know what is. There are 4 services available here, and I’m pretty sure your son can only qualify for two since he is already shaving. There are two children’s services: Child’s Haircut and My First Haircut. The other two are Adult Haircut and Beard Trim. Advance reservations are recommended, but a limited number of walk-ins on a first-come, first-serve basis each day.
I hope you find this information helpful for your upcoming stay. Visit us again if you have any other questions at

Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
