Welcome back to planDisney, Emily! There’s nothing quite like having a
Disneyland trip blooming on the horizon, and I’m delighted to help you prepare for your magical adventure in 2026.
Planning ahead is always a smart move, especially for a spring visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, when the parks are bursting with color and fresh energy. While
Disneyland Resort vacation packages and rates for 2026 are typically released around August of the prior year, we haven’t seen an official date announced just yet. These timelines can shift a bit, so the best way to stay updated is to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. That’s your go-to spot for the latest on vacation packages, along with exciting announcements about seasonal events, springtime treats, and any new experiences blooming across the resort.
Another key step in your planning is purchasing your theme park tickets. Historically, tickets become available up to 180 days in advance, although this can vary from year to year. Since your trip is set for May 2026, a great time to start checking for availability would be around November 2025. Be sure to visit the
Theme Park Tickets page on the Disneyland website for the latest updates on pricing and availability.
As you start mapping out your magical itinerary, I highly recommend looking into
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. It’s a time-saving option that lets you bypass the standby lines and access select attractions through the Lightning Lane entrance. You can purchase Multi Pass for your group in advance or the day of your visit. Once you’ve entered the park, just open the Disneyland app and start reserving return times for your must-do attractions. Think of it as a fast pass to more springtime magic!
My family and I love using Lightning Lanes, and the Multi Pass has made a big difference in how we experience the parks. It means we can enjoy classic attractions like Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain, then slow down for a sunny lunch on the patio at Carnation Café. And trust me, no springtime Disneyland visit is complete without a bowl of Walt’s chili and a churro for dessert!
Emily, I hope this information helps you spring into planning mode for your 2026 Disneyland adventure! If you have any other questions, or want more tips as the countdown begins, please hop back over to planDisney anytime.
Wishing you a trip full of sunshine, blossoms, and magic,
David
