I'm leaving for Disney on July 6th and recently heard about the "Pick A Pearl" option in the Japan section of Epcot. I think this experience sounds so cool! Are there any other cool little things you could possibly give me the heads up on?

    Hi Brittany,

My husband started a family tradition where he buys my daughters a pearl from Japan each trip. Needless to say they have a string of pearls waiting for them to use any way they like.

Two items come quickly to mind with hidden gems. In Magic Kingdom, head to Tom Sawyer's Island and be the first to find the paintbrush. Also, in Fantasyland, you can try to pull the sword from the stone behind Prince Charming's Royal Carousel.

In Disney's Hollywood Studios, walk the streets and you may be cast in a production. You could be an extra in Indiana Jones' Stunt Spectacular.

In Disney's Animal Kingdom, you can complete a scavenger hunt around the park to learn about conservation.

In Epcot, save the world with Kim Possible in World Showcase or design your own rollercoaster in Innoventions.

    Have a magical vacation!
