Hello! I'm investigating pricing for a trip to Disney World vs. Disneyland in February or March 2024. We would have 2-3 days in Orlando and would want to hit Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Can you link me to somewhere I could get some hard figures?

Hey there Laura, welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your questions.

I love planning a trip and comparing vacation destinations even more. Especially two of my favorite places on Earth. My specialty is the Walt Disney World Resort and my panelist buddy Al C. is a total Disneyland Resort pro. These resorts seem so similar, yet are so different. If you are looking to build a trip and get a quote for your dates and resort you can start at the Vacation Planning Page, or always call Walt Disney World reservations. I have made numerous 2-3 day trips to Florida and the Magic Kingdom Park is always a must-do. If you have thrill seekers the new coaster TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise is the newest addition to this quintessential park. Don’t miss this one but make sure you download the My Disney Experience App. You will need it to get a boarding pass for this attraction. The Virtual Queue opens at 7 a.m. and boarding passes go quickly. If you miss out there is another time at 1 p.m. where you have to be present inside of the park to have access to the Virtual Queue. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is always so serene in the early morning. And one of my tips is to get to this park early so you can see the animal residents move around on my favorite Animal Kingdom attraction Kilimanjaro Safaris. Later in the afternoon, they don’t move around and most residents are taking their afternoon naps.

Al showed me so many great things when we visited Disneyland together. So if you need some planning tips he is your man. He knows that resort like the back of his hand and can guide you to the highlights that will help you decide which coast to visit.

I hope this information helps you find the magical visit that is best for you. If you have any other planning questions visit us again at planDisney.com.

    Have a magical day,

    Jeremy A.
