I'm interested in knowing about accessibility. I was planning on renting an electei scooter. Are there accessible areas? Will I stick out like a sore thimb?

    Ahoy, Sherri!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad you stopped by to "sea" us because you will not stick out like a sore thumb on your Disney Cruise with an electric scooter. I've cruised many times and always see plenty of scooters cruising around the decks. Most areas of the ship are accessible, and there are even a handful of wheelchair-accesible staterooms if you are interested. When you are not using the scooter, it will need to be stored in your stateroom or the designated spots on the ship.

The Disney Cruise Line Special Services Team would love to talk to you about your questions and concerns and put your mind at ease about using a scooter on your sailing. They can talk with you about how to enjoy all the areas of the ship like the dining rooms and the Walt Disney Theatre. Once they have all your cruise information they will be able to make sure the ship is aware of your needs before you even arrive! You can contact them by phone at (407) 566-3602 or by emailing them at specialservices@disneycruise.com.

Sherri, good luck with your plans. Please let us know if you have any other questions before you set sail aboard Disney Cruise Line!
