I'm interested in getting a Swedish massage while on our upcoming cruise on Disney Dream. Are the massage therapists registered? If so, do they issue receipts for insurance reimbursement? Thanks!

    Ahoy, Grant!

Your vacation aboard Disney Cruise Line is coming up real soon! I know you are looking forward to trading in your snow boots for flip-flops on your Bahamian adventure on the Disney Dream. I'm sure it will be a much needed getaway for you this winter.

A wonderful way to unwind on your cruise is experiencing a treatment at the Senses Spa. I surprised my husband with a Swedish Massage on our sailing last month, and it definitely helped him feel both relaxed and rejuvenated for the remainder of the vacation. I reached out to both Disney Cruise Line and a fellow panelist about the therapists' qualifications and insurance reimbursement. I found out that the therapists are registered in their home countries, but this registration does not apply on the Disney Dream because it sails in international waters. The only receipt that can be given for your service is for the charge and not for insurance reimbursement.

I know this is probably not the answer you were hoping for, Grant. But, I still recommend enjoying some time in the Senses Spa on your cruise. You deserve some extra pampering on vacation!

    Have a "Dream"y day!
