Hello, Nikki!
Congratulations on adding another baby to your family! I cannot think of a better place to celebrate this new addition than by taking a little trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. You should have no trouble including your new princess in many of your favorite attractions and experiences, but it is always a good idea to plan ahead so you know what to expect when you arrive.
I think this would be a great trip to meet with the Disney Characters throughout each of the four theme parks and take some new family photos. Some guests like to take a photo with the same character or park icon each visit to look back at how the children have grown over the years.
You can also experience some of the "mild" rides with baby, but use your best judgment. You wouldn't want to take baby on Splash Mountain or Space Mountain, but Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin could be fun options. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the
Rider Switch program before you arrive. This will help you to all experience favorite attractions so no one gets left out. Please keep in mind that each of the theme parks have convenient
Baby Care Centers, where you can feed and change your baby in a calm environment, too.
There are also a number of wonderful entertainment options that may interest you. You can take a break from walking to enjoy excellent entertainment (and air conditioning!) I'm a big fan of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, Disney Junior - Live on Stage! and Country Bear Jamboree, but there are many options to choose from. There really is something for everyone to enjoy at Walt Disney World!
I hope you have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Nikki! If you have any other questions before your trip, please do stop back by the Moms Panel. Happy planning!
