I'm helpping my parents plan a trip to go to Disney World in Florida at the end of the year. We have a party of 6 and we want to stay at a villa/cabin and on the monorail but we are having trouble finding the right place to stay. Can you help us?

    Emily,

Thanks for your question to planDisney!

The good news for you is that there are villas now at all three of the monorail resorts at Walt Disney World! Here are your choices that match the needs of a party of 6 or more

    1. The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have 2-bedroom villas that sleep up to 9, and 3-bedroom villas that sleep up to 12.
    2. Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows have over-the-water bungalows that can sleep 8.
    3. Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort has 2-bedroom villas that sleep up to 9, and 3-bedroom grand villas that sleep up to 12.

Obviously, all are great choices, but without question the one that would be tops on my bucket list would be a bungalow at the Polynesian. These multi-room, single unit accommodations offer their own views of the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom Park, with a dip pool right there on the porch. The full kitchen and living room space also make it a great place for your party to congregate and spend time together.

    BONUS TIP
No, it is not on the monorail, but just a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom are the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The cabins sleep up to 8 adults, and like the Polynesian bungalows they offer a very personal home experience. Don't rule them out before you decide!

    Have a Magical Vacation!
