I'm heading to the Wilderness Lodge July 3-7 and wondering if Disney does anything special to celebrate the 4th? Are there special fireworks? If so, where do you think is the best viewing spot? Thanks!

Hi Kate!!  Celebrating a holiday is always extra special when spending it at one of Walt Disney Worlds resorts.  Disney does a great job commemorating Independence Day.  From fireworks to special concert, it's definitely a celebrating befitting for America's Birthday!  Although plans for this years celebration have not been released as of yet, I am linking the blog entry detailing the celebration that was put together for 2011.  As for best viewing, my advice is always arrive early!  For Magic Kingdom, clearly anything on Main Street, U.S.A of course!  For Epcot, I would recomment the waterfront area in front of the Italy pavilion.

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
