Donald,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Unfortunately at this time we don't know a projected re-opening date for
EPCOT Seas Adventures – DiveQuest. Disney has not yet reopened their different in-water tours at the Living Seas pavilion or announced a date for when that might happen. But I would recommend you keep checking both the website, and the
Disney Parks Blog for a possible reopening date before your vacation. The blog is typically the first place you are going to hear about a re-opening date.
My wife and I have had several amazing experiences at DiveQuest. When it reopens, I am sure you will too. The overall operation was well run, and as a newbie who had just gotten his PADI card, I felt very reassured that I was in good hands. They were also great about letting us go off on our own. It was, without question, the best scuba experience I have ever had. While I loved swimming with sharks and rays, I had even more fun interacting with the guests inside
The Seas with Nemo & Friends pavilion through the numerous viewing windows! On our second visit, my wife dove solo while I got to accompany our young daughters to the pavilion windows. They got the surprise of their lives as she swam up to them unexpectedly from the other side of the glass.
So, until we can go back into the water, we can both take a cue from Dory, and
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...Or in this case, just keep surfing (the web that is) to see when it will re-open. I will cross my flippers that you and your school are able to try out this unique experience!
Please feel free to
write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions about this amazing experience.
Have a Magical Vacation!Doug
