I'm heading to Disney in December and really want to go on the Star Wars Guided Tour. Are adults allowed to dress up as Jedi for something like that?

    Dear Tesca,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning for the Star Wars Guided Tour!

You are going to have an absolutely galactic time on this tour when you sign up, and you will feel so immersed in the world of the Jedi. Unfortunately, adults are not allowed to dress up as characters except for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, so sadly you will have to stick with comfortable clothes that will allow you to stand for some longer periods and to move well on the walking portions of the tour.

One tip, though! Have you heard of DisneyBounding? That is a fun idea for adults, where you don't wear a costume exactly but you wear street clothes that evoke the spirit of whatever film or character you are thinking about? Maybe this would be a perfect opportunity to give that a try!

May the force be with you!
