Hi. I’m headed to Disney California Adventure next week. Was wondering if I could bring in a Canon camcorder for vlogging purposes into the park…wanted to make sure so I don’t end up brining it and it not being allowed in. Thank you!

Hello there, Kobe! Welcome to planDisney. I hope your bags are packed and you are ready to see all the sights and sounds of California Adventure.

California Adventure is not short on content to capture! Whether it's a sunset in Radiator Springs or a snack stop in San Fransokyo, capturing memories is always an important part of my Disneyland visits and I know that's true for many Guests. A camcorder should be allowed through security. I suggest going over the Park Rules and Regulations to make sure there's nothing there that would cause your camcorder or accessories to be flagged or not permitted at security.

Hopefully, you are planning on vlogging some of the Lunar New Year festivities! There are marketplaces full of content-worthy bites and sips. You can even check out the list ahead of time by looking over the Foodie Guide. There is also Mulan's New Year Processional which takes place several times over the afternoon.

Kobe, thanks so much for stopping by! I hope your visit is full of magic and picture-perfect shots!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
