Hey there, William!
Welcome to planDisney. We're delighted you've dropped by with a great
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question!
Oh boy... it sounds like you're headed to The Most Magical Place on Earth with a couple of Mouseketeers very soon. I'd be happy to help you prepare for a perfect Disney day!
William, when connecting with other Guests to combine plans for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you'll want to link up via the
Family & Friends List function in My Disney Experience. You can add a Guest to your Family & Friends List on the Walt Disney World Resort website or using the
My Disney Experience mobile app. In the app, simply navigate to "Profile" from the main menu, then select the "Family & Friends List" tab. Next, scroll all the way to the bottom of the list and tap "Add a Guest." You'll have several options to find the Guest you're searching for, either via connected Guests (think mutual friends), by entering their name and age (which will send them an email invitation to connect), or by scanning the other Guest's linking code in their My Disney Experience mobile app. For minors, I find it easiest to connect with the person who manages their account first, then select the child from my "connected Guests" list. Then, the person who manages the child's account will need to confirm the connection once they've received an email invitation on behalf of the minor.
If you're still experiencing difficulty, then I recommend reaching out to the helpful Cast Members at the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ phone line, William. They should be able to assist you with connecting your accounts so that you can include your child's friend in the planning fun! Once connected, you'll be able to view each other's theme park admission and include one another in
Lightning Lane entry selections, dining reservations, and more.
William, I hope this information helps to get your travel party on the way to a thrill-filled day in the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks! If you have any more planning questions along the way, please feel free to reach out to us again here at
planDisney. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
