I’m having trouble finding individual restaurant reservation cancellation policies within Walt Disney World. Would love some guidance as I’ve read they are different at each restaurant. Thanks!

    Hi there, Rachel!

I am so happy that you came by today. As I am sure you know, a Walt Disney World Resort vacation can take a bit of planning. One of my favorite parts about planning any vacation is getting ready to make a reservation for a fabulous table service meal.

Rachel, the cancellation policy is that you will not be charged for any standard dining reservation canceled more than 24-hours in advance. Really, you can usually cancel up until midnight the day before you are due to dine without any penalty. Please note that this policy may not apply to special dining experiences. In this case, you will be notified of the cancellation policy before you book.

If you do not cancel before your 24-hour window, the credit card that you used to book the reservation will be charged a fee if you do not show up. This fee is generally around $10 per person, although this is subject to change.

If you have a special case, like a sick little one, and have to cancel a reservation at the last minute simply stop by your resort concierge or call (407) 939-5277 and see if they can work a little magic to have your reservation canceled without a fee. I can tell you first-hand that I have had this experience, and I was not charged, which is such a relief in this situation.

I hope that this answered your question, Rachel!

    See you real soon.
