I'm still having trouble finalizing my dining and my first day to book is this coming Friday. I have a quick question... Can I book the Fantasmic dining package using my meal plan? I'm also still open to any dining suggestions. Traveling with 6yr old DD

Hi, Cartier!  You can absolutely use a dining plan to book the Fantasmic! Dinner Package.  You will need one table service credit to dine at either Mama Melrose or Hollywood and Vine, and the Hollywood Brown Derby, which is considered a signature dining experience, requires two table service credits per person.

There are so many dining options that might appeal to your daughter.  If you are looking for a character experience, you might want to visit the princesses at Restaurant Akershus in the Norway pavilion at EPCOT.  If Pooh and friends are more her thing, there is a wonderful buffet at the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom.

If you're not interested in character dining, you'll find unique experiences at 50's Prime Time Cafe or the Sci-Fi Dine In at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  At Prime Time, you'll step back to the 1950s, where you'll be seated at "Mom's" kitchen table and be served by your cousins, who make you set the table and finish your vegetables before you can have dessert (although, I've found some clever pushing around of vegetables works, too!).  Sci-Fi is just like sitting in an old convertible at a drive-in movie theater - complete with movie trailers.

One more restaurant you might want to check out is Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge.  It is my girls' current favorite.  Don't let the Whispering part fool you - there's nothing quiet about this fun dining location.

I hope you have a fantastic vacation!
