Hey there, Evan! I hope you are super excited about your trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth in a couple of days!
Based on your question, it sounds like you already downloaded the
Disneyland Mobile App and are now attempting to add your tickets to the app. What you are describing sounds a lot like what my brother-in-law experienced during our last trip to the Disneyland Resort. He also was scanning a QR code and receiving an error.
That is because there are two scannable codes: one is the QR code for your reservation (i.e., the date you reserved to come), and the second is a bar code for your ticket. The QR code will not work when scanning into the Disneyland Mobile App. You will need to locate your ticket bar code, most likely in your email inbox, to scan the tickets into the app.
If you are unable to locate your ticket barcode, no worries. When entering the park, a Cast Member can scan your reservation QR code for entry and will then print out tickets for you at the gate. You can use those printed tickets to scan the tickets into the app.
Have fun, and don’t forget to pack comfy shoes, sunblock, sunglasses, and a reusable water bottle because there are
refill stations in several locations at the resort.
Best wishes,
Lola
