I'm getting a little of a head start but we are planning a trip down to WDW when my youngest daughter turns 5. Which is 3 years from now. Do you have any tips on what hotel/resort would be best for a family of 5? kids: 12/G, 10/B, 5/G!

    Hi Ashley!

I don't think it's ever too early to start planning a Walt Disney World vacation.  In fact I am usually planning our next adventure before I have even left the current vacation.   I just love Walt Disney World so much! Like yourself, I also have a family of five and hands down our favorite Resort hotel for our larger family is Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort sleep up to six Guests plus an infant under 3 years-old.  Family Suites are equipped with 3 separate sleeping areas, as well as 2 full bathrooms.  The 2 bathrooms really help when we are all trying to get ready in the morning to head out and experience the magic waiting for us.   You will also find a small kitchenette equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave and sink.   It is the PERFECT Resort for larger families.   The Family Suites are themed after beloved Disney and Disney Pixar movies such as Lion King, Finding Nemo and Cars.   Our favorite section is the Cars Family Suite area.   Life size replicas of the Cars characters have found homes in the courtyard, and the Cozy Cone pool is so relaxing.   I know you would love this delightfully fun Resort.

Thanks for stopping by Ashley,  I encourage you to check out the above linked information about Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  Please visit us again with any other questions you might have about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.

    Have an Animated Day,
