Hi, Im getting anxious as the day approaches.Im still worried what to do on disemb day esp when our flight is at 5pm & having our luggage.DH doesnt want to rent a car, instead a cab, can we leave our luggage with a bell captain to go to DTD, which reso

    Welcome back, Ansam!

Taking a taxi from the cruise port to Downtown Disney could be tricky if you have luggage. Only guests of Disney resorts can leave their luggage with Guest Services at the resorts, so that is not an option for your family unfortunately.

If you aren't renting a car, you could take transportation to the airport, check in your bags, and then head to Downtown Disney with just your carry-ons. But, I will warn you that a taxi ride from the airport to Downtown Disney is very expensive each way. We attempted to do that after our very first cruise and quickly decided against it once we got prices from the taxis at the airport.

Though Downtown Disney is wonderful, if you only have a few hours, and are not renting a car, it probably won't be worth it. The car rentals are pretty easy from Port Canaveral, and you can arrange to return the car to the airport, which would probably be your least expensive, easiest way so you don' t have to hassle with luggage.

Sorry that I can't clear things up definitively, Ansam. Let me know how else I can help!
