Hi Natisha, welcome to planDisney!
December is a holly, jolly time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is a must-do for my family, serving up seasonal songs, snacks, and storytellers.
Your research is correct, Natisha. Valued UK-based Guests can purchase 7 or 14-day tickets via the
Walt Disney Travel Company. I understand and regret that these options do not suit your needs. As soon as you arrive in the United States, you can purchase alternate ticket lengths via
disneyworld.disney.go.com. Valid admission, a
theme park reservation, and a method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) are currently required for theme park entry, so be sure to consult the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar before finalizing your purchase.
Something you can do before arrival, Natisha, is make advance reservations for dining. These reservations can be made
online up to 60 days in advance. Valid admission and a theme park reservation are not required to make a dining reservation, though both are required to redeem an in-park dining reservation. A new day of reservations typically opens at 6:00 a.m. EST. Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can book for their entire length of stay (up to 10 days) 60 days before arrival. If you make plans to dine at
the Beast's enchanted castle in Magic Kingdom Park, positive thinking tells me a theme park reservation will soon follow.
I hope this information helps you understand your planning options for your December visit, Natisha. As your planning progresses, please return to planDisney with any other questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
