    Hi Kathy! We often start our Disney vacation at Downtown Disney - it's a great way to spend your arrival day! Since you're travelling with two young ones who might be very hungry, I'd definitely recommend making reservations. We've never had any troubles walking up when we've gone mid-day, but we did have to wait for quite a while during the lunch rush. Be sure to give yourself enough time to get your bags and to the car!
