Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sérgio!
Having lived through my fair share of dreary winters here in Pennsylvania, I can think of lots of great reasons as to why I'd love to reside in the Sunshine State! Mainly, however, it is because of the
exclusive deals offered to Florida Residents. Walt Disney World is kicking off the New Year with a limited-time ticket offer called the
Discover Disney Ticket; what makes this deal even sweeter is that the tickets can be used any days through June 30, 2020, with no blockout dates!
As you're well aware,
proof of residency is required when purchasing Florida Resident theme park tickets or Annual Passes. Children under the age of 18 are not required to provide proof of residency as long they are accompanied by an adult with valid proof of Florida residency, so your kiddos will be good to go! While you can still verify your residency in person at any theme park ticket window, there is now an option to take care of this process ahead of time online:
*When purchasing tickets through Disneyworld.com, fill out the "Your Florida Resident Information" form upon check-out.
*When purchasing tickets through your
My Disney Experience app, verify your residency during the "Customize Your Tickets" step.
My boys are 11, 15, and 17, and I cannot wait for them to experience
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge later this year! Check out the Walt Disney World website for
planning tips and ideas for teens and tweens. I always tell my kids that the great thing about The Most Magical Place on Earth is they'll never outgrow it!
See ya' real soon, Sérgio!
