I'm going for the first time with a group of 3 adults and 2 kids. We want to book the hoop-de-do and a few other dinner shows. It said it accepts meal plans but still wants to charge us a total of almost $300 is this covered or not (level above quick Ser

Hi, Meghan! Congratulations on your trip! May it be the first of many! Even though you will eventually be using your Disney Dining Plan entitlements, you will have to pay for Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue in advance. There are a few dining experiences at Walt Disney World that require Guests to pre-pay for the meal upon booking, like the dinner shows and Cinderella's Royal Table. Your card will be charged at the time you reserve your meal. When you arrive for one of those meals, you can then utilize your Disney Dining Plan and get a refund. Simply tell the Cast Member serving you that you have a Dining Plan and want to use it instead of leaving the meal on your credit card. The Cast Member will deduct the Disney Dining Plan credits from your entitlements and refund your credit card. Make sure to bring that original credit card with you to the meal. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
