Ahoy Austin - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks for swimming by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical,
Disney Cruise Line adventures!
Austin, there are a couple of things you'll want to consider before making your decision, but first, let me just say that you've made a great choice sailing on
the brand-new Disney Wish! I've been able to sail on the Wish a couple of times now and it's truly an amazing experience.
One option you have is to book
a Disney Land and Sea vacation, which adds time at the Walt Disney World Resort either before or after your Disney Cruise Line sailing out of Port Canaveral! If you go this route, your accommodations will be a part of that planning, as will any Ground Transportation that's needed.
Otherwise, my recommendation is to
add a stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport. Doing so is easy -
just call and speak to a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member. Since you'll have your little Mouseketeers with you, I think it will be easiest to land and then stay at the airport. This hotel is actually
inside the terminal, so you'll have no additional logistics to worry about once you land. The next morning, your arranged Ground Transportation will take you from the airport to the port!
I hope this information helps your planning efforts – stop by any time with additional questions! Oh, and before I forget, make sure to check out all the magical excitement surrounding the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet –
the upcoming Disney Treasure!Bon voyage!
