I want to plan a disney cruise to Alaska for my family in 2024

Ahoy Sandra - welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for swimming by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Disney Cruise Line adventures!

Alaska cruises on the magical Disney Wonder are truly one of a kind. With all of the unique Ports of Call and Port Adventures available, it's no surprise that one of these adventures is at the top of your list! Also, can I tell you a secret? I absolutely love Disney Cruise Line sailings, but I'm actually not a huge fan of hot weather - an Alaskan cruise is the perfect compromise!

All Disney Cruise Line Alaska sailings take place on the Disney Wonder and depart from Vancouver, Canada. For the 2024 season, you'll currently see an array of 7-night itineraries departing between May and September, as well as one 5-night and even a 9-night sailing!

Once you decide on an itinerary, you'll select your Stateroom and pay your deposit (or pay in full). Later, once your cruise is paid in full, you'll be able to book activities including Onboard Fun, Port Adventures, Adult-Exclusive dining, and much more. If this will be your first Disney Cruise Line sailing, this can happen starting 75 days prior to your sail date, but if you're already a Castaway Club Member who has sailed before, you'll be able to make these selections even sooner!

I hope this information helps your planning efforts – stop by any time with additional questions! Oh, and before I forget, make sure to check out all the magical excitement surrounding the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet – the upcoming Disney Treasure!

    Bon voyage!
